Client: Personal Project.
Type: Typeface Design.
An experimental font made using the extensive letterpress facilities available at the University of Plymouth, UK.
The font uses bitmapped imagery instead of vector paths to render each character, allowing for the rich textures present in the original prints to be more faithfully reproduced. OpenType scripts embedded in the font file enable alternating variants of each character to be displayed as you type, giving a randomised appearance.
